We can give our feedback and request features (via Discourse Meta) that we would like the Discourse team to add to the plugin. If anyone has thoughts I will make sure to post them on the meta 
If they added Pavilion’s calendar import/export integrations it would be pretty much over.
Pavilion used to offer just the event integrations as a separate product that you could use to augment Discourse Events or Pavilion Events, but they merged them together to make it easier to get all the functionality off just Pavilion Events.
But I’m sure the integrations side could be surgically removed (for lack of a better metaphor) quite easily because they used to be separate.

I will say, the Pavilion team has been very responsive and helpful with the feedback I’ve been giving them. More responsive and helpful than I’ve been to them hehe.
I wouldn’t be opposed with switching back, they suggested mounting both and giving them feedback on how to integrate their features with the Discourse plugin when required.
It would be super rad to have Discord Events integration – as in… make the events we post here auto-link to the internal discord events. There are bots that can import .ics files and turn them into Discord Events (saw one earlier today but I can’t find it at this moment D:), so it probably wouldn’t be too hard to copy some of that code (if it’s open source).
