At the rally yesterday, Gondek basically said the only hope for the Green Line is to convince your MLA’s to retract their statement / reinvoke funding before the end of March. She seemed pretty hopeless, which is pretty devastating.

I guess it’s time to mobilize, again. Regardless of the fate of this specific project, we need our leaders to know how essential transit is. I’ll post an email template once I get around to it. I’m sure there will be one developed by one of the several advocacy groups for the green line though, so if someone sees something, please reply/post in green-line-lrt

I wonder what the CTA could be in an Unsprawling email campaign about the Green Line.

Perhaps informing folks that they can get updates in green-line-lrt and Events?

That they can join #ct-riders on our groups page?

That we’d love to platform their frustrations and musings about it on social media?

Definitely a good opportunity to reach out to our network and try to capture some attention.
