Where Calgary’s urban activists come to connect, collaborate, and communicate.
Traditionally, we urban activists disappear into private chatrooms — like little suburban neighbourhoods — disconnected, unsustainable, and undiscoverable — think of the Forum like a virtual downtown!
Designed to encourage the cross-pollination of diverse backgrounds and perspectives toward more informed, engaged, and activated Calgarians.
The Basics
The Unsprawling Forum is a decentralized knowledge, events, and communications hub for urbanists, artists, and community-builders.
Unsprawling is a grassroots organization building decentralized community platforms, relying on the efforts of our community members to co-build these spaces into something more useful and accessible for themselves, and others.

As such, we embrace all contributions from Calgarians like you to make our platform, and our city, a better place.
Please feel free, and encouraged, to post links, information, events, etc. in their appropriate categories.
